More Resources. Better Classrooms. Brighter Futures.

Founded in 2012, the Foundation funds the innovative ideas that teachers are eager to bring to their classrooms — ideas that inspire students and strengthen our entire community.

Through grants to teachers and administrators across Bedford Central Schools, we go beyond the limitations of the district's budget to make more possible: more resources, better learning experiences, and brighter futures for every child.

When you give, you send a powerful message — that you believe in our teachers' vision and expertise. Your investment turns great ideas into real opportunities for our kids, in every classroom, every year.

  • “I am so excited to provide these items for our students. Thank you all for your amazing support! The Foundation has been so supportive of our students across the district. We are so fortunate to have you as a resource!”

-Deneane Carrozza, MKES Special Education Teacher

  • “The opportunity to take our students to the 10th Annual Flagway Tournament is truly meaningful. Your support will allow them to experience mathematics in a joyful, collaborative, and empowering way while connecting with a broader national community of young mathematicians. We deeply appreciate the Foundation’s partnerships.”

     -Michelle Grier, District Math Coach

  • "I was absolutely touched and delighted to see the Inspiring Educator Certificate. It really made my day. Thank you so much for all that you do to our kids and faculty. You really are making a difference in culturing a supportive community. "

-Amy Salerno, PRES and FHLS Art Teacher

  • “I cannot put into words how thankful we are and how much we enjoyed the college tours. For most of my AVID students, this was their first time away from home. They saw schools that gave them hope. So many of them said, ‘I can see myself here.’ Many of them do not have the opportunity to tour colleges so this trip gave them a wide range of schools to think about.”

    -Christy Bekkelund, FLHS AVID Coordinator

  • “I am thrilled to see students making use of the space in the library daily that the Foundation funded. [The goal was] to provide a comfortable space in our library where students would go to read, relax, and collaborate with peers.”

    -Linda Cohen, FLMS Librarian

  • “Thank you so much for including me in such a meaningful event. I’m truly grateful for the support and recognition from the Foundation—it means more than I can fully express. It was a very special evening, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been surrounded by such warm, inspiring, and genuinely lovely people. Being part of this community is something I deeply value, and moments like this are a beautiful reminder of that. Thank you again for all that you do to support our schools and educators. It was an honor to be there.”
